Washington State Minimum Wage 2025. Effective january 1, 2025, washington state will increase its minimum wage and salary level thresholds for exempt employees. The cities of seattle, bellingham, seatac, tukwila and renton have adopted minimum wages higher than the state.
Some local jurisdictions have higher minimum wage rates and different labor rules than washington state. Washington’s minimum wage is set to increase to $16.66 per hour starting january 1, 2025, as announced by the washington state department of labor & industries.
